Mimic painted wood floors

I wanted to create distressed painted wood floors in The Sea in A Mini. Since they would be painted, I didn’t feel the need to lay down real wood planks, so I created the look using the floor of the dollhouse, which is made of MDF.

I made the floorboards 1/2” wide to mimic 6” planks and then staggered the perpendicular lines, creating planks that were anywhere from 4” to 7” long.
